I think that Leavitt went crazy over that presser question because they have so carefully curated the reporters in their pressers that all she ever gets is softball questions. The Brits have a wonderful way of getting to the point. It must have left her tongue tied.
The Nobel committee should be embarrassed that Machado did that, and should revoke the prize for that reason, IMO. (And if their official rule book says the prize cannot be revoked, they should change the rules.)
