A bombshell new report now shows that inflation is rising again, hitting a three-year high under Donald Trump. As Tahra argues, Donald Trump has completely failed to deliver on his campaign promises of lowering grocery prices or inflation. Instead, he’s launched the United States into new war with Iran, which has done exact opposite of lowering costs, along with inexplicably flip-flopping tariffs. Tahra says “too many Democrats are responding with the fiscal equivalent of a coupon.”
Jo and Tahra also dive into what Democrats should be doing right now to alleviate voters’ concerns on affordability, considering the failures of Trump and the Republican party.
