This week was a circus of Epstein leaks, Trump and Bubba memes, and notably, MTG’s sudden “break” from MAGA. It all began when MTG started to explore a potential Georgia Senate race, and Trump told her “No.”
MTG then began a “revenge tour” of sorts, breaking with Trump on key issues and publicly criticizing him, which is the cardinal sin in MAGA world. And then came the Epstein files discharge petition, where MTG publicly said she supported releasing the files and planned to vote yes on the discharge petition, including holding the abusers accountable.
Of course, this makes zero sense, as MTG supported one of Epstein’s closest figures, Trump himself.
Now, Trump has unendorsed MTG. There is a MAGA civil war in full-swing, and this marks a real turning point for the Republican party. As Trump’s mental state deteriorates, and he keeps pushing out his closest allies, it doesn’t look good for the MAGA Republican party, who have only existed with Trump as its central figure.
