I don't know what to say. I could not stand in line at CitizenSHIT and Desperation in Broadview Illinois and we left America and our children and grandchildren and moved to Montreal, Quebec , Canada, where I was born a second class human being in 1948 under the laws of Rome and Canterbury. In 1957 the Supreme Court of Canada said "All men are created equal."
My father left Poland in 1927 and came to New Pork City with his Judaic and Jesuit High School Education from a town next to Camp Auschwitz.
In 1964 I watched the GOP Hatefest in San Francisco with my father. My father loved to read. He read English, Polish, Russian, Latin, French, Yddish, Hungarian and Hebrew My father was a martial artist and I am Asperger's Syndrome and failed Bar Mitzvah 65 years ago and grade two 70 years ago was beyond my abilities despite my PhD vocabulary and my genius in abstract mathematics. My father watched the Klan and their marching in the parking lot with their Goldwater Signs. He watched Ronald Reagan welcome Fred Koch and his John Birch Society back into the GOP fold and said to me , "it can happen here." I never pretended to be anything other than a fucking goddamned Jew and I was loved wherever I went except among the "liberal?" Phil Ochs sang about.
I am almost 80 and Je regrette Rien. I am grateful for my autism and 8 decades of loving and being loved. Woody Guthrie wrote a song for Old man Trump and I pity the fool. I love Bobby Blue Bland and Edith Piaf.
