Although it was nice to see the US mens hockey team win gold, giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom to someone for simply having had a good hockey tournament belittles the meaning of the award. We had a female figure skater take gold for the first time in 24 years yet no mention of her.
No it wasn't nice . Hockey is a game and everybody wins in games. I live in Kraft/Heinz Hockeyville 2010. Our town is in Vermont and Quebec and we flew the stars and stripes along side the Maple leaf and Fleur de Lys. I buried Old Glory in November 2024 and Kristi Noem came in 2025 to tell us we would be assimilated and resistance is futile. I bought a Zelensky Flag. I am a Canadian and I give middle finger salutes to Nazis. "Et Tu Brute."
I was so disgusted by Fetterman actually wearing a suit and watching Trump going over to him when he arrived and when he was leaving but I did notice nobody was sitting near him.

A Funny thing happened on the way to the Forum that was the home of Hockey when Kamala Harris and Leonard Cohen attended Montreal, Quebec, Canada's Westmount High School. Leonard played hockey before he learned to skate and lead the country band at Westmount High School.
