As we’ve seen so far in 2025 and 2026, Democrats have flipped 28 state legislature seats across the nation and have over-performed in nearly every major election since the start of Trump 2.0, making a Democratic sweep increasingly likely during the midterms.
Just recently, Democrat Shawn Harris won the most votes during the special election for Marjorie Taylor Greene’s old seat in Georgia, which will now go to a runoff.
The DCCC has put together a list of the districts across the nation most likely to flip blue in November and deliver a majority to Democrats, effectively stopping the Trump White House in its tracks.
