These three accounts post dozens of times per day, clipping everything from Trump’s latest rally to a fringe MAGA podcast, garnering millions and millions of impressions.
Their succinct, easy to understand, and often viral clips are frequently the starting point for entire news cycles and social media debates. It’s easy to see why many Americans say that these accounts are their primary source of everyday news.
They’ve become so well-known in fact, that many politicians and their staff are followers themselves, waiting for their “clip” to be posted to one of these accounts after a press conference or interview. Legacy media has gone from threatening to sue, to embracing these social media clips as the future.
