As the country slept, Donald Trump started an illegal war with Iran, alongside Israel.
While the news broke, Trump released a statement saying U.S. troops may be killed in the war. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham also chimed in, saying if Americans were to give their lives during this conflict, it would be for a good cause.
Trump began his second term saying he was the “no new wars” President. At least, that’s what some of his voters believed when he walked back inside the White House on Jan. 20th, 2025. The official White House Twitter account has released countless statements saying Trump has “ended 8 wars,” and Trump’s MAGA allies pontificate endlessly on him being the “peace” president.
But as with all things MAGA related, that was a bunch of bullsh*t. The only thing Trump and his fascist allies in the White House have done during the last year is start more global conflicts and divide us from our allies.
