I don’t understand why per the constitution Trump fence the speaker of the house and all of Trump’s cronies can’t be removed when they can be removed under the constitution why can’t people go and arrest all these bastards?

Because Congress has to be the ones to do it, and MAGA runs the Oval Office, the senate, the house, and SCOTUS. The criminals are running the prison.

Unless we take control of Congress next year, unless international law intervenes, or unless we literally revolt, there is nothing we can do about the lawlessness and corruption. I don’t know where the majority of the military stands, but we have to assume that if we were to storm the capital that we’d be met by our own military. There is no way that armed civilians could take on the US government. I suppose if we had enough civilians in a militia along with international forces to back us up we might have a fighting chance. I think it unlikely that enough people would unite to carry this out. So here we are… people should’ve gotten out to vote for Harris/Waltz. We tried to warn the masses.

I live in Virginia. What is the "DOGE Caucas"? Please explain what this. Does this have something to do with Democrats? It sounds like a Republican organization. I've never heard of this.

This can explain it better than I can. All I can say is it something started by Musk. He seems to ruin everything he touches. He created the department which only Congress can authorize, so the convicted felon used his illegal power and issued an Executive order.

The Department of Government Efficiency has faced legal challenges over the scope of its work, and Musk and his team have been criticised for a lack of transparency as well as their failure to reach savings anywhere near stated goals.

However, polling suggests the idea of cutting federal government spending has widespread support.

Musk's departure had been rumoured for weeks and was confirmed a few days after he criticised a sweeping budget bill currently in front of Congress.

"I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful," Musk told CBS News. "But I don't know if it can be both."

In a departing news conference at the White House, Trump and Musk showered each other with praise, and the president gave the tech tycoon a large golden key in a wooden box.

Although according to the president, Musk is "not really leaving" and will continue to be "back and forth" to the White House.

What is Doge?

Despite its full name, Doge is not an official government department, which can only be established by an act of Congress.

Instead the advisory body was created by an executive order signed by US President Donald Trump.

Part of Doge's mission, according to the order, relates to IT upgrades aimed at boosting efficiency. It must finish its work by July 2026, but Trump could issue another order to extend its lifespan.

Many Doge staff appear to be young people with tech backgrounds and limited or no government experience.
