Frankenstein to me is one of the two best films I have seen in 2025 (the other being Sinners) Spoiler alert: both feature immortal beings. So a shared universe? And Jacob Elordi proves he is more than just a pretty face with an out of Renfield performance that has people mentioning the O-word as the Creature. Guillermo Del Toro has said Jacob worked his butt off to film this movie. Also don't forget Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein. I can possibly see three acting noms (the other going to the appropriately named Mia Goth). A longtime favorite actress of mine is Paula Marshall, who plays Elordi's mom in Euphoria. Wonder how proud she is.
