Looking around recently, things are getting pretty bleak. Trump has militarized Washington D.C., reducing the city to an early 2020 COVID-era vibe, routinely kisses up to brutal dictators while giving them Trump 2028 merch in the White House, and now, official government agencies are hanging massive posters of Dear Leader’s face off the sides of buildings. It is reminiscent of a scene from a dystopian novel like The Hunger Games, or 1984.
And what’s more? Even as official White House spokespeople brandish Democrats as “the enemy,” and sign random executive orders saying you’ll go to jail if you exercise a fundamental freedom of speech, MAGA still calls itself the “party of freedom.”
