Prominent MAGA Podcaster Candace Owens has found herself in hot water after French President Emmanuel Macron, along with First Lady Brigitte Macron, have filed an official complaint in U.S. court for defamation.
This comes after Candace Owens has spent months claiming that the First Lady was born a man, and later transitioned to become a woman. This is a baseless claim that Owens has never produced any real evidence for, even though she made an 8-part “documentary series” called “Becoming Brigitte.”
This is all part of the MAGA, far-right obsession with trans people, and more broadly with conspiracy theories. MAGA has always been a stitched-together group of different conspiracy theorists, ranging from flat-Earthers to the more harmful QAnon believers and white supremacists that conducted the January 6th insurrection.
To these people, everything is a cover-up.
