Yesterday, Politico published a bombshell article in which 28,000 text messages from a group chat of young Republican leaders were leaked, including at least one Trump administration official, a Republican state senator, and many Republican state party staffers from across the country. These weren’t the normal texts of young college students. These were evil, hateful, and deeply disturbing messages.
One Republican texted, “I love Hitler,” which was received by a smiley face emoji. Another member of the chat said, “I’m ready to watch people burn now.” Another message read, “Can we get them to start releasing Nazi edits with her… Like pro Nazi and faciam [sic] propaganda,” which was responded by, “Omg I love this plan.”
Over 251 racial slurs were found in the chat.
Some of the contents found in the group chat are so vile that the messages had to be blurred. In any normal country, the response from elected leadership would have been to immediately denounce these messages. But not JD Vance- who actually refused to condemn the messages.
Folks, the Republican party are no longer conservatives. They haven’t been for a while. They are now the party of fascists and neo-Nazis.
