And Democrats still can’t get their shit together. They haven’t come to terms with how their inability to address the Gaza genocide led to millions of Biden’s 2020 voters not voting in 2024 (very unwisely in my judgement).
And they are also fighting over things in Texas, as your column here pointed out, that should be largely irrelevant at this time and may lead to them blowing yet another winnable election.

that would be a huge distinction - a mediocre campaign reflects more on the campaign staff than on the candidate IMHO, though a truly stellar candidate would recognize that and make changes.
we can look at Mayor Mamdani's campaign and his actual work so far in office to see how a charismatic candidate who cares, who speaks with those he seeks to represent, and then DOES THE WORK ON THEIR BEHALF then hires the people who can get his message across and hires people he can delegate tasks to to get shit down.
(I wish we could change the requirement that candidates for President must be born in the US, if Mamdani accomplishes everything as Mayor I hope he considers running for higher office one day. He can at least inspire a "native born" to run a similar campaign - which reminds me how much I miss the Obamas...)

I have been supporting all 3! When Talrico joined the race, I dropped Allred. Then he dropped out of the Senate race. When Jasmine jumped in supported them both. Now I am supporting Talarico because he does not take Corporate money. Jasmine does. The corporate Dems may have pushed her into the race because they know Talarico will smash corruption and take care of the people instead of the billionaires. Open your eyes Texans. He could be President some day. He is what America needs to revolutionize our corrupt government.

I would wish that they all could represent the Democrats. We are facing such a threat that such infighting will hurt the party. I may have to leave and become an independent. Democratic politicians really need to start THINKING before ranting - we ordinary voters are really sick of the BS posturing. we KNOW that Black women are in fact electable, we just need to talk about the (GOP) elephant in the room:
1. extreme gerrymandering so Democrats of ANY gender and color have a hard time winning
2. illegal voter registration cancellations (not to mention making such cancellations "legal" in the first place - just check out Greg Palast's work on this, his Vigilantes Inc documentary should be required viewing for all Democrats and especially the politicians)
3. the clear possibility that Musk, with the help of Russia, stole the 2024 election from Kamala and two special elections in TN and FL from Democrats (according to Election Truth Alliance).
We the People also must start holding our elected officials to higher standards in all areas:
the fact that those in the Trump Epstein files have rarely faced accountability for their heinous acts should be a wakeup call.
We the People don't give AF about who is in them, WE WANT HEADS TO ROLL and it seems right now that the British are the only ones to actually roll some heads...
I would love to see the Texas Democrats find a way to utilize both of these excellent candidates in representation of the people.
