Donald Trump has spent a large portion of the previous year embarrassing, arguing with, and hurting our allies. He levied sweeping tariffs for no reason, attempted to “take” Greenland, called Mark Carney the “future Governor of Canada” after promising to make Canada the 51st state, leaked Emmanuel Macron’s text messages, said he no longer feels obligated to think "purely of peace," eliminated USAID funding, and literally rolled out a red carpet for Vladimir Putin.
That list doesn’t even begin to cover all of the terrible things Trump has done to and said about our allies. But now, Trump expects these countries, which he has spent over a year abusing, to immediately join the United States in a war that we started in Iran?
