Here’s the current state of America under Donald Trump: Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House. Masked secret agents are invading American cities and executing U.S. citizens, gas prices are skyrocketing due to Trump’s illegal war in the Middle East, the job market is on life support, the president is celebrating the deaths of veterans online, and fundraising off the deaths of U.S. troops. And now, due to a partial government shutdown, massively long TSA lines are causing thousands of Americans to miss their flights.
Here’s MAGA logic, summarized: On any given day, a tumble at the stock market is immediately branded as Joe Biden’s fault from the MAGA pundit class. Hours later, a positive swing is the “Trump economy.” Basically, when anything negative happens under Donald Trump, it’s the Democrats’ fault. It’s the most blatantly hypocritical and irrational argument deployed in modern American politics.
Now, you’ll hear Republicans incomprehensibly screeching about a “Democrat shutdown,” in response to the long airport wait times. In reality, Democrats have offered multiple funding bills for DHS, and in return, are asking for stricter regulations for ICE agents and DHS itself. Republicans have refused, therefore creating the current TSA crisis.
Instead of attempting to solve this problem, Donald Trump can be seen tweeting like your average Facebook shitposter, celebrating the death of a former FBI director and veteran, and posting that the Democratic party is ‘greatest enemy’ America has, (behind only Iran, of course).
