On this episode of Big F*ing Deal, Jo and Tara react to the breaking news of Trump’s new pick for the incredible important position of Director of National Intelligence. Trump’s pick to replace Tulsi Gabbard, who resigned at the end of last month, is Bill Pulte, of home construction company PulteGroup.
Pulte has no background in intelligence work, which makes him a great fit for the most unqualified and unserious White House in U.S. history. Pulte gave money to Trump’s inauguration and has weaponized and abused his current position within the government as the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Pulte also led several criminal referrals to the Trump DOJ against political figures, who just so happened to be on Trump’s political enemy list, like New York AG Letitia James, Fed Governor Lisa Cook, Senator Adam Schiff, and former Rep. Eric Swalwell.
As is typical with this regime, Pulte has no business leading one of the most important and sensitive positions in the world. Which is exactly why he’s been tapped to run it. Jo and Tara discuss all of this and more, right here on The Siren Network.
