The “Great American State Fair” that was touted by the Trump White House as an historic celebration of the nation’s culture is (shocker) a disaster. All weekend, videos made the rounds online showing, at the most, dozens of people attending the event, complete with tacky wallpaper, horrendous looking food service, and overpriced merch.
Like the neon green reflecting pool, it really is the perfect encapsulation of Donald Trump’s America. As it turns out, “America 250” meant 250 people attending the event.
